Service, parts or operator’s manual – which one do I need?

  • Service manual – also referred to as a shop manual or repair manual, typically covers removal/installation and disassembly/assembly of components.
  • Parts manual – also referred to as a parts catalog, includes part numbers and detailed illustrations for the purpose of ordering parts.
  • Operator’s manual – also referred to as an owner’s manual, covers safety, operation, basic maintenance/lubrication and specifications.
